Your kitchen color can affect your Mood!






The kitchen color theme is a direct reflection of your personality. While most of us may not spend a lot of time thinking about kitchen color theme but it affects us every day. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen and it can influence our moods and our thoughts.

You need to keep in mind that each color has the power to affect your emotions and mood so you need to choose wisely when you decide about the cabinet doors, countertop stone, wall tiles, kitchen wall paints.

Red: This is most intense color and it can dramatically increase kitchen’s energy level. Red color pumps the adrenaline like no other does. It is a good choice when you make the open kitchen as red draws people together and stimulates conversation. In an entryway, it creates a strong first impression.
Yellow: Is basically and shiny color and communicates happiness. It is an excellent choice for kitchens wall cabinets. In small spaces, yellow can feel expansive and welcoming. Please remember, although it’s a cheery color, do not use this as the main color, and always use this color with some dark of light combination.
Blue: is considered as healthy color, good for heart rate and blood pressure.s That is why it is considered calming, relaxing and recommended for big & open kitchen scheme.
Green: Is most soothing color for your eyes and mood. In the kitchen, green cool things down, it encourages unwinding but has enough warmth to promote comfort and togetherness. This color can be used as a main color scheme for the kitchen.
Purple: Purple is rich color, it creates drama and give sophisticated look. It is associated with luxury and creativity, it a mainly considered as the secondary color to give depth to the whole color scheme.
Orange: Is color associated with excitement and enthusiasm, and is an energetic color. While not a good idea for a small kitchen but this can be a good color for a studio apartment with small open linear kitchen. This is a young and sporty color.
Neutrals (black, gray, white and brown) are basic and necessary to the interior scheme. All-neutral schemes fall in and out of fashion, but it can change the whole effect of above color schemes if used properly. For the kitchen, white is favorite to many and it gives a real open effect to a small kitchen. At the same time, black is less accepted color in most of the society for the kitchen. We can use the dark color as a complementary color with the main color to add beauty to your kitchen.
